what makes some people click?
yesterday was so nice… ching, jill, & rita were here at the apartment… we had a day slumber party =) just chilling, eating breakfast (spam, fried egg, fried rice - mmmmm!!!), talking, watching movies, and bonding. i was so excited cuz it was ching’s first time to meet jill and jill’s first time to meet rita, but they all got along splendidly! it was neat to be able to chill on the couches discussing life, and i guess it was cool cuz everyone told their story - no barriers were up. we just went straight to the good stuff =)
see… this is what i was talking about way back when i posted about interesting people! everyone thought there was a guy who was calling me (there wasn’t - at least not at that time), but i was talking more about the connection that people share. sometimes it’s an attraction… but mostly i meant “what causes someone to want to hang out with a specific someone else?” i mean, what would’ve happened had the friendships not clicked yesterday?
so, back to my question: what makes some people click and others not? why is it that some people (whether boys or girls) you wanna hang out with, while others, you don’t really care about? i used to wonder why some of my friends preferred staying home than coming out with all of us, and now i realize that i’m also getting more picky with who i hang out with - i’d rather stay at home alone than “waste time” going out with people i don’t care about. most of the time these friends i want to hang out with are people i’ve known for a long time, but everyone once in a while, i get a pleasant surprise when i meet someone new. yesterday was one of those ‘pleasant surprises’ cuz we had such a fun time, even though my friends just met each other.
anyways, back to my question: what causes that connection? what do you think?

by the way, here are some archives on relationships for background....
way back in march, daryl, kat, laura, alan, & i had a buncha fun writing a few posts on friendships and relationships. it started off in a guest blog i did on daryl’s site, which he responded to by posting on my site. kat responded with this post, and then laura responded with this post.
Yeah your extremely lucky… I had a party a couple of months ago with about 15 of my closest girl friends and it was a total and complete disatster I mean tears, yelling, the whole nine yards. But anyways I have definitely wondered why so many people I enjoy spending time with could h a t e eachother… but I am glad that it worked well for you!
Btw… I don’t like you very much right now… of course I procratonated and I just started on the math project… oh yeah fun! I am so not a puzzle person. LOL
